About Gotse Delchev Municipal History Museum
The Municipal History Museum in Gotse Delchev opened in 1979. It covers the history of the Mesta valley in south-western Bulgaria, from the Roman town of Nicopolis ad Nestum, whose remains lie near the village of Garmen, to the 20th century.
The ethnographic displays show local crafts and costumes, and the museum also looks after the Revival village of Kovachevitsa nearby.
