About Kovachevitsa
Kovachevitsa is a village in Garmen Municipality, Blagoevgrad Province, in the western Rhodopes above the Kanina river valley.
Its tall stone houses with slate roofs are protected as an architectural reserve, and the village has many guesthouses and traditional restaurants. Nearby are the historic village of Leshten and the Temnata Gora reserve.
