About Saeva Dupka Cave

Saeva Dupka is a cave near the village of Brestnitsa, in Lovech Province, with about 400 metres of corridors and halls. Its formations include stalactites, stalagmites and columns.

The cave is named after two brothers, Seyu and Sae, who hid in it during Ottoman rule. Excavations show that it was used from Roman times, and its acoustics have made it a venue for choral concerts.
