About Teteven
Teteven is a town on the banks of the Vit river at the foot of the Balkan Mountains in north-central Bulgaria. It is the centre of Teteven Municipality, part of Lovech Province.
The town has a history museum among the 100 National Tourist Sites and is a base for the nearby resort village of Ribaritsa and the Central Balkan National Park.
