About Kakrina Inn
The Kakrina Inn stands by the old road near the village of Kakrina, south of Lovech. On 27 December 1872 the revolutionary Vasil Levski was captured here by the Ottoman authorities; he was hanged in Sofia a few weeks later.
The inn is now a museum of the Regional History Museum in Lovech, with the rooms arranged as they were in the 19th century and a memorial to Levski in the yard.
