About Ribaritsa
Ribaritsa is a village in Teteven Municipality, Lovech Province, at the foot of the Teteven Balkan, on the banks of the Beli Vit river. It is 12 km from Teteven and 138 km north-east of Sofia.
Its mountain location makes it a popular resort. The revolutionary Georgi Benkovski, a leader of the April Uprising, was killed near Ribaritsa in 1876.
