About Zlatograd Ethnographic Complex
The Ethnographic Area Complex in Zlatograd is an open-air museum in the old part of the town, close to the Greek border. Craftsmen work in restored Revival-era shops, making copper vessels, wool, pottery and sweets by old methods.
The complex also includes the first Bulgarian secular school in the Rhodopes, a water mill and a fulling mill, and several houses open to visitors.
