About Momchilovtsi
Momchilovtsi is a village and ski resort in the central Rhodopes, about 15 km north-east of Smolyan. Its large two- and three-storey houses are set like an amphitheatre at about 1,350 m.
The village has an ethnographic museum, an art gallery and 24 churches and chapels in and around it; the best-known, the Church of Saints Constantine and Helen from 1836, is one of the 100 National Tourist Sites.
