About Uhlovitsa Cave and Agushevi Konatsi
Uhlovitsa is a show cave in the Blue Pools area near the village of Mogilitsa, in the Rhodope Mountains. It is about 460 metres long, at 1,040 metres above sea level, with formations that include white "flowers" and small lakes.
Agushevi Konatsi in Mogilitsa is a large fortified mansion built in the 19th century by the wealthy Agush Aga. Its three wings with many rooms around a courtyard are among the most interesting Rhodope buildings of their time.
