About Kolyu Ficheto Museum, Dryanovo
Kolyu Ficheto (Nikola Fichev, 1800–1881) was the best-known architect and builder of the Bulgarian National Revival. He was born in Dryanovo and learned his craft from the master builders of Tryavna.
The museum presents his churches, bridges and public buildings, among them the covered bridge in Lovech, the bridge at Byala and the Church of Saints Peter and Paul in Veliko Tarnovo.
