About Etar
The Etar Architectural-Ethnographic Complex is an open-air museum near Gabrovo, on the northern edge of Bulgarka Nature Park. It presents Bulgarian customs, culture and crafts.
The complex covers 7 ha and contains about 50 sites, including water-powered installations and houses with craft workshops, illustrating the architecture, way of life and economy of the Gabrovo region during the National Revival.
