About Sapareva Banya
Sapareva Banya is a town in south-western Bulgaria, part of Kyustendil Province, at the northern foot of the Rila Mountains, 15 km east of Dupnitsa. In antiquity it was Germaneia.
The town is known for its mineral water at 103 °C and the geyser in the centre that appeared in 1957. It is also the gateway to Panichishte and the Seven Rila Lakes.
