The Environmental Policy of VERNILAC SA is determined by its Administration, which is committed to its implementation by all staff of the Plant Company, which operates in the design, production and trade of varnishes and paints. In addition, the Senior Management is committed to implementing the following guidelines are the key priorities of VERNILAC’S in environmentally-friendly strategy:

# Compliance with the European and National legal requirements and with other requirements, the Company has accepted.

# Emphasis on environmental protection a prime concern to:

+ Avoid impacts on the environment and worker protection.

+ Minimization and proper waste management and recovery / recycling wherever possible.

+ Saving natural resources.

+ Using appropriate control equipment.

+ Promote green procurement.

# Continuous commitment of the Company is to prevent pollution.

# Communicate with relevant stakeholders and interested parties such as staff and suppliers of the Plant, to provide information on the company's environmental policy.

# Provide all necessary resources and tools to:

+ Using modern equipment and the provision of personal protective equipment.

+ Continuous information, education and awareness of staff.

# Control all the processes to ensure continuous improvement of Environmental Management System.

VERNILAC SA VERNILAC SA sets to achieve specific objectives and targets that are measurable and attainable. The environmental objectives and targets are evaluated annually on their effectiveness and revised as necessary. The results of the environmental performance of the Company included in the Environmental Statement, which is notified to the Ministry of Environment of Greece, Physical Planning and Public Works and the Office of the European Union's EMAS.
