Das Hausmuseum Peyo Yavorov im Zentrum von Chirpan ist das Geburtshaus des Dichters und Revolutionärs, der hier 1878 zur Welt kam. Zum Ensemble gehören das Haus, sein Hof und ein Ausstellungssaal. Die Kunstgalerie Nikola Manev zeigt das Werk eines Malers aus der Stadt.
Das Kloster des Heiligen Athanasius nahe dem Dorf Zlatna Livada ist nach Angaben bulgarischer Forscher das älteste noch aktive Kloster Europas, gegründet im 4. Jahrhundert. An seinem Festtag, dem 2. Mai, kommen Tausende Menschen zusammen.
