Über Untertage-Bergbaumuseum, Pernik
Das Bergbaumuseum in Pernik wurde 1986 in einem unterirdischen Stollen eingerichtet, in dem zwischen 1891 und 1966 Braunkohle abgebaut wurde. Es ist das einzige Museum seiner Art auf dem Balkan.
Besucher gehen durch die Stollen und sehen die Werkzeuge, Maschinen und Arbeitsbedingungen der Bergleute. Pernik wuchs im 20. Jahrhundert zur wichtigsten Kohlestadt Bulgariens heran.
