ZHITI S.A. was founded on 14th March 1924 as a factory producing wires, nails and wire products. The location of the factory was chosen to be in Rousse on purpose. Being situated on the Danube river, the city has excellent transport links and the fastest growing industry, which are the prerequisites for a newly established factory to prosper.
Since the first years of its establishment and in the whole history, ZHITI remains the leading producer in Bulgaria of low- carbon steel wires, nails (common and special), fasteners, chain-link nettings, barbed wire and household products.
The factory has been privatized since 1997 and currently 100% are owned by private shareholders.
ZHITI S.A. has been acknowledged as a partner around the world due to the long term traditions in producing quality wire products, the on-going eagerness to provide a better service and satisfy customer’s wishes.
