SVINEGRAD Ltd. was established in 1961. It is situated on the exit of Yambol to Rosa village. Main activity - meat production and meat processing. Secondary activity - cattle breeding (cows, calves, production and sale of milk). SVINEGRAD has a capacity of 10 000 pigs of the breeds Golyama byala, Landras and Topiks.
At the present time SVINEGRAD is carrying out a project of the SAPARD program - modernizing old pig pens and building new ones. We're also building a slaughterhouse, which is supposed to start working soon.
The fodder farm has a capacity of more than 8 000 t. fodder on storage and 40 t. of processed fodder daily. The fodder meets the needs of SVINEGRAD, and part of the production is also sold to customers.
