The canning plant at Parvomay began its existence in 1940 as a joint-stock factory “Viteks” to produce tomato puree, red pepper and marmalades. In 1947 it was nationalized and renamed "Partisan". As a result of expanding and diversifying the assortment structure, at the end of the eighties, production reached 36 000 tons in more than 60 million packages.. For the period during the years between 1991 to 2002 the company has been designated "Bulcons” and maintained the same production structure. Almost 70 years of its establishment until today it is one of the leading in the sector of canned food industry in the country. Since 2003 the canning company is 100% privately owned.

The enterprise is located in close proximity to vegetable-growing area.. So it supplies the market with conserved foods much higher quality, which can satisfy the requirements and needs of modern consumers. In the near future increment of the product range as well as the corresponding implementation of the necessary quality management systems are planned. Optimization of the manufacturing process is also imminent. The canned foods currently offered on the market are Lyutenitsa, Home-made Lyutenitsa, Apetitka, Kyopoolu, Peeled and Roasted Peppers.

Characteristic for the product quality of “Bulcons Parvomay” JSC is the minimum starch content in products, reflecting in saturated red color. Another distinctive quality is the homogeneity of the product and very finely ground ingredients that result in a very specific product which has preserved its nutrients.

At present, mainly tomatoes and peppers are processed. The manufacturing is done on a production line equipped with the necessary machinery to produce quality and safe foods. Production activities are carried out on the main site of 82 000 square meters in three production facilities.

The company has its own laboratory for physicochemical and microbiological testing, as well as qualified personnel for implementation of activities under control, using contemporary methods and equipment.

Acquired by the company certificates ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 22000:2005, allow the occurrence on major European and international markets.. The two certificates represent the international quality management systems and safety management of food required for each organization in the food chain. The acquisition of international certificates proves the compliance of activities and production of canning company.
