STRABAG SE is one of Europe’s leading construction groups. With approximately 75,500 employees, STRABAG posts an output volume of around ? 13.0 billion in 2009. From its core markets of Austria and Germany, STRABAG, via its numerous subsidiaries, is present in all countries of Eastern and South-East Europe, in selected markets in Western Europe, on the Arabian Peninsula, as well as in Canada, Chile, China and India.
STRABAG is active on the Bulgarian market since 2002 and was renamed into STRABAG EAD in 2008. The Company is mainly operating in the Building Construction & Civil Engineering and the Transportation Infrastructures segment, it is also engaged in underground engineering works.
Recent projects comprise the construction of the airport in Sofia and the construction of several business centres. Project development and industrial building are also part of the field of activity of STRABAG EAD.
