Tenevo Project is a hybrid solar and battery storage project that, on completion in early 2026, formed the largest hybrid energy project in Bulgaria. The first phase launched in 2025 and the whole solar part was commissioned by the first quarter of 2026, adding 238 MW of solar capacity. Phase 1 of the battery storage, 65 MW and 260 MWh, went into operation in 2025, and the project is expected to generate about 332 GWh a year.
