About Konex-Tiva

Konex-Tiva is a Bulgarian private company producing and exporting fruit and vegetable conserves. The company had been established in 1995. The production facilities are situated in the South of Bulgaria, where vegetables with rich taste and high quality are grown. The raw materials are raised in ecologically clear areas.

The factory is located on a 40 000 sq. meters area (manufacturing buildings and warehouses - 13 500 sq. meters). There are 215 permanent workers (employees including), and during the season additional number of part-time workers take part in the production process.

The production list of Konex-Tiva consists of more than 100 different products, which vary in taste and package.

In the last years our company has grown rapidly, well aware of the significance of variable and healthy food. Our market oriented strategy as well as our commitments to the customer have made it possible to enlarge the product list and to incorporate in the assortment not only the traditional Bulgarian taste but also the well-known taste of the Mediterranean cuisine.

The attention of the company is focused on our customer needs and long-term satisfaction. Flexibility and quality are the key words to our policy. It is not only the improvement of the technical equipment but also our overall organization, which aims at meeting the highest standards.

We work on a private label base. For the consumer, private label represents the choice and opportunity to regularly purchase quality food products at savings compared to manufacturer brands.

Konex-Tiva has been authorized to place the OU symbol on most of its products, listed under their respective brand names. Products are manufactured under the supervision of the Kashruth Division of the Orthodox Union - The Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America.

The manufacturing facility is situated in the village of Orizovo, 40km after Plovdiv on E773 highway direction East. Konex Tiva has a branch in Sofia, which handles sales and marketing activities.

Konex-Tiva is the first Bulgarian company in the canned-food industry to be ISO 9002 certified in 1999. Today we are certified as per the new standard of ISO 22000 by TUV Rheinland, Bulgaria. The company has developed a program a food safety control system as per the requirements of IFS. Konex-Tiva has implemented and applied a HACCP system for the scope of development, production and trade with canned fruit and vegetable products.
