Prista Oil Holding EAD is the market leader in South-East Europe in the production and sales of engine and industrial oils and Bulgarian INVESTOR No 1 abroad.

Over the last 14 years the company has developed business relations with partners in more than 20 countries within the region, as its market share in the separate countries ranging between 5% and 55%. The countries where the market share of Prista products is strongest are Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey and Serbia.

Prista Oil’s production facilities are set up and developed following the state-of-the-art and innovative technologies as a result of company-own research and development activities, as well as with the cooperation of world leading companies in lubricants and chemical business, such as Chevron Global Lubricants, Valvoline, ERGON Europe MEA, GreenChem etc. Prista Oil has its own blending plants in Bulgaria and Turkey where producing engine, transmission and industrial oils, greases, automotive fluids and car-care products. Moreover, the company is a managing partner in the largest plant for production of lubricants in Republic of Serbia. The overall annual production output of the company exceeds 250 000 tons. On 31st of May 2009 Prista Oil Holding EAD has acquired 92% of the entire capital of the company Bogdany Petrol Kft. through sale of shares. Acquisition of Bogdany Petrol Kft. is part of the strategy of Prista Oil Group to diversify the supply of raw materials, to achieve the more complete optimization and synergy between the raw materials and materials necessary to Prista Oil and Bogdany Petrol, as well as diversification in the final product, giving opportunities to improve the management and marketing of the company, and thence the stronger presence and enhance of the sales of Prista Oil in Eastern Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

The product portfolio is extended and developed in line with the market needs and in compliance with the latest requirements of the OEMs, ACEA and API. The products meets and even exceeds all applicable safety and environmental standards and their quality is well-known from the customers. Prista products are approved by more than 20 worldwide leading automotive and machine manufacturing companies, such as MB, Volvo, Opel, BMW, VW, Renault-Nissan, MAN, Cummins, ZF, VOITH, Allison, Siemens, etc. In the Spring of 2009, Prista Oil launched the production of AdBlue under the license agreement of one of the European leaders in AdBlue business - GreenChem B.V.. The production will be marketed both on the domestic and foreign markets.
