We carry out rehabilitation, electrical and electrical construction and installation work on primary and secondary switching in power systems; build overhead and cable lines from 0.4 to 400 kV; make and install transformers and compact transformer stations; carry out commissioning; install industrial and residential lighting, power and signal systems; remove and recycle switchboards; supply low-voltage switchgear; make occupational safety measurements; and meter the electricity used by customers.

Electrolux Tabakov and Sons Ltd has highly qualified specialists with long experience in the design, rehabilitation, operation and commissioning of electrical equipment in substations, transformer stations, overhead and cable lines and hydropower plants, both primary and secondary switching.

STAFF

The company employs 520 people, who gained their experience in the national power system and at the sole trader ET Nikolay Tabakov – Electrolux. Their high qualifications and education, with staff holding the fifth and fourth occupational safety qualification groups, guarantee competence and professional experience.

QUALITY

Our work meets the quality management system ISO 9001:2008.

We strictly follow the requirements of OHSAS 18001:2002 for health and safety.

We are currently introducing ISO 14001:2004.

ACCREDITATION AND EQUIPMENT

The company is accredited by the Executive Agency “Bulgarian Accreditation Service” as a type “C” inspection body for measuring phase-earth loop impedance, earthing resistance and insulation resistance.

We have good technical equipment and tools for all types of electrical work.

The company has its own office, production and warehouse space: a 302 m² office in the centre of Plovdiv and a main production base of 8,860 m² near Plovdiv.

We also have office and commercial buildings in Ravda and Ruen, and rent offices and warehouses in Sofia, Dobrich, Shumen, Razgrad, Targovishte and Silistra.

Our workshop has roll-forming machines for cold-formed sections, 3 folding machines, 2 guillotines, 2 lathes, a professional spot welding unit, a hydraulic press, a 5000 × 1000 × 1000 mm powder coating oven, 2 electrostatic spray guns, 2 CO2 welding sets, pneumatic riveters, 5 pillar drills, 12 diesel engines, crimping pliers, a winch, Tirfor hoists, 7–12 m aluminium ladders, carrier ropes, rollers, tamping machines, asphalt and concrete cutters, concrete vibrators and more.

For construction work we have the necessary tools: electric welding machines, small and large grinders, drills, impact drills and hammer drills, hammers, power cut-off saws, crimping pliers, hydraulic tools, pneumatic presses and other small tools.

We have various instruments and equipment for laboratory measurements and commissioning.

In recent years Electrolux Tabakov and Sons Ltd. has built hundreds of municipal and industrial switchboards, control and relay cabinets and capacitor banks.

As a type “C” inspection body we have issued many inspection certificates and reports.

The company provides maintenance by subscription to 46 industrial customers.

The best reference for the quality of our work is that we have not yet received a single complaint after handing over and commissioning a site.
