The village of Solishta is located at the edge of the most picturesque Perelishki area in the Middle Rodopi, located in the valley of the Lukovitsa River, which is a tributary of Shirokolashka and Vacha Rivers. There are beautiful views of the magnificent Perelik peak at the south of the village – 2191m, Shilesta Chuka peak, Orpheus peak – 2189m and Turlata Fortress. The north of the village is just on the edge of the forest reserve “Chernocheto” which is overgrown with venerable black pine-trees and the Solitski Peak protects the village from the cold northern wind and strongly influences the temperate and mild climate.
