Gabrovo Milk Ltd is successor to the traditions of the dairy founded in 1958 in the town of Gabrovo. From its birth, the dairy has enjoyed constant growth and development as it now has three units. The main unit is located in the town of Gabrovo with two subunits - one in the town of Drianovo and one in the town of Sevlievo. All of them produce traditional milk products such as cow cheese, cheese, plain yoghurt, sour cream and milk. In total, all three units process over 200 000 liters of milk on a daily basis.
Gabrovo Milk Ltd has a certificate of International Organization for Standardization /ISO/ 22 000-2005 (click to view) and has adopted Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points /HACCP/. The dairy has also met the requirements of the European Union (EU) related to dairy products and dairy production, and it is placed in the dairy category "First Group." Gabrovo Milk Ltd is therefore allowed to trade with the rest of the members of the EU. Gabrovo Milk also has a Certificate of Registration (click to view) with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and can export its products to the US market.
Currently, Gabrovo Milk Ltd sells its products domestically as well as in foreign markets. The company has its own distribution system to serve clients nationally and internationally.
