Solar Machine Systems has been working on solar energy sector long time before 1985, having full activity throughout Greece since 1987, under the general management of Ilias Th. Vourtsas.

Ever since its initial steps, Solar Machine Systems has set high aims that concern the quality and longevity of the product, [ production of hot water] services to the customer, as well as an opening to propulsion and recognition of the product in the rest European area. These aims have been accomplished in a great degree, since until now, the company, having disposed its own income and funds, has become known and has entered vigorously not only in the Greek market but in other countries as well.

Solar Machine Systems’ products are being constructed with the highest quality standards; carry test and technical control sanctions, a CE testimonial of quality, as well as capacities of the collectors, according to the instructions that have been given from the Economical Department in Germany, regarding the propulsion of energies for the use of renewable energy sources. This certificate was based on the results of the experiments that have been made on solar collectors, according to the ISO 9806 – 1 pattern, which has been carried out in the solar & other energy systems laboratory of ΑΚΕΦΕ ΔΗΜΟΚΡΙΤΟΣ, that are contained in the Test Bulletin with Register No: 1086 on 12/04/2002.

Following the international improvements, Solar Machine Systems, has extended its sales in the rest Balkanian countries, further than the ones that it is already cooperating with, like From (Skopia), Albania, Bulgaria and in countries of middle Europe, etc. In 1998, Solar Machine Systems creates its new company in Bulgaria for better propulsion of its products.
