THERMOSTREN INVEST EOOD manufactures multilayer boards for construction insulation (of residential buildings, industrial halls, refrigerator chambers, warehouses etc.), as well as of various types of food containers, food packaging and disposable food trays, made of extruded polystyrene foam (XPS).
THERMOSTREN INVEST EOOD started its independent activity in December 2005. The company has a modern production base, located only at 45 km from the city of Varna – in the town of Valchi Dol. The availability of a developed road infrastructure in the region is a strategic advantage of the future development of the company. The specialists of THERMOSTREN INVEST EOOD managed to combine the advantages of the American and Korean equipment and know-how and to create and offer to the Bulgarian companies of the food and construction industry goods of the highest modern standard. The manufacture of THERMOSTREN XPS multilayer thermal-insulation boards is unique for the country with regard to its technological solution. The boards are manufactured as thermally bonded multilayer structure of high bending strength and resistance to compression which ensures a lower heat transfer coefficient – from 0.026 to 0.03 W/mC. The thermal insulation boards we manufacture have been designed to be compatible with regard to size and thickness with the other thermal insulation materials offered on the market. The Thermostren XPS insulation boards standardly manufactured by us have dimensions of 600 x 1250 mm and 600 x 2500 mm and their thickness is from 5 to 50 mm. Their mechanical properties allow the product to be used in all spheres of its application. The manufacturing process is in compliance with all requirements of the Bulgarian National Standard EN 13164 and has been certified for application in the construction industry.
THERMOSTREN INVEST EOOD successfully applies the ISO 9001:2008 quality control system and a HACCP system for safety of materials intended for contact with food products.
