Naporni Trabi JSC – city of Ruse was established in 1961. The initial equipment was provided by the former USSR under the license of the Swedish SENTAB Company for production of pre-stressed reinforced concrete coupling pipes with a diameter from Ф 500 to Ф 1200 through the hydraulic vibro-pressing method. There application is mainly in water-supply, hydroelectric and watering systems.
Naporni Trabi JSC introduced also new, modern Austrian equipment for production of concrete and reinforced concrete pipes with a diameter from Ф 200 to Ф 2000 which were used in sewerage, water-treatment and catch-pit systems, as well as the accompanying manholes elements /rings, cones, bottoms, etc./ at the end of 2007. The production meets the requirements of the newly-adopted European standards BDS EN 1916/2003AC:2004, and BDS EN 681-1 and BDS EN 681-3 concerning the built-in and external seals.
The main goal of the management of Naporni Trabi JSC is the continuation of the traditions in the production of building products intended for this market segment, as well as opposing the trends for complete import of materials necessary for the infrastructure projects in this field.
