About CableTEL

CableTEL is a fast developing international company in the field of telecommunication technologies and services. The company was created in 2003 following the acquisition of the largest national cable operator in Bulgaria by a group of strategic US investors with a vision for developing a new generation telecom operator. With its organizational structure, technological capabilities, national licenses for data transfer, cable TV and fixed telephony, CableTEL emerges as the only real alternative to the market dominance of the Bulgarian Telecommunications Company (BTC) with respect to offering data transfer, national and international leased lines, fixed telephony, high-speed broadband Internet access and a host of other communication services.

Using its own national fiber-optic backbone of more than 2000 km CableTEL connecting Bulgaria's key cities with the largest world telecommunication centers, CableTEL is able to provide to corporate clients the latest telecommunication services for voice and data transfer. CableTEL's services are based on the concept of direct customer access to the network via fiber connectivity (FTTP fiber to the premises), thus ensuring guaranteed quality and cost effectiveness, as well as complete infrastructure independence from the first to the last mile. CableTEL premiers the "Triple play" service on the Bulgarian market a high-quality and costeffective combination of fixed telephone, broadband Internet access and cable TV, delivered to customers via the operator's optical backbone and HFC last mile network. Thus, CableTEL is able to provide last generation services, bundled with attractive pricing and guaranteed international standards for customer service, to clients in close to 1 000 000 households in over 20 cities.
